Malapascua island

Today has been a
much easier day. We followed Lorraine’s
advice and went to Malapascua Island, off the north of Cebu Island.
It is just beautiful…
We arrived just before
lunchtime and I had a wonderful swim – lots of coral, not many fish.
The sea was smooth
and calm all the way; so nice not battling into steep contrary waves!
As we approached our
intended anchorage, we could see big splashes near the cliffs.
Big fish??
No…big boys!
Large groups of
them have been appearing at the top of the rocks, then they dive and screech and
jump and climb and…vanish. (Around the corner; not into the sea…)
A bit later –
another group leaping, splashing, screeching!
