Friday 12th December
Some of our
friends are back in Rebak Marina (Langkawi) for Christmas.

We were there last
year…it does NOT seem very long ago! It
was very hot, and it did seem very strange,
to me, to be spending this season with people we didn’t know very well at all…

This year it will
be all FAMILY!
This morning my friend
Chris came to visit, with her own granddaughter, Marlo. We sat in the sun near Katy and Jeff’s beautiful
house

and watched the children play…it didn’t seem like very long ago that we did the same with our own little ones…
At lunchtime I met
up with the group of women I worked with for many years. All of us EXCEPT for Ann-Marie are now
retired. And…nobody is looking back
longingly.
