We were
particulars taken with the giant water monitors happily making their way around
the waterways and streets of Molucca.
There were also a few swimming purposefully around the boats in Port
Dickson, and I have kept a keen eye out for more sightings.
I heard about
one, not huge, but middle sized, which was found in a cupboard in one of the
boats. This would give one just a bit of
a shock, I think. But think how useful,
to have a pet monitor, contained in the galley.
Not a chance of a rat or a mouse; these lizards are speedy!
Meanwhile back
in Tasmania…
We have quolls!
