23rd January - Coron (Busuanga)

Friday 23rd January 2015

At about 9pm last night the tide came in just a bit so we were able to extract ourselves from the sea bed and return to our mooring in Coron.  All went well…we managed to pickup the mooring buoy in the darkness, and we did not collide with any of our neighbours…

These very cute neighbours are only temporary day-visitors
I am not sure if I explained the full glory of the luggage in Pete’s suitcase…

For example – a very heavy fully functional meat grinder!  Plus a new inverter, a new depth sounder, a cancrusher, a coffee pot…

It is hot again today.  Yesterday was mercifully cool.  In hot climates – people sleep everywhere!

And in case anyone thought Rosie was eating a sentient creature - a rock lobster, for example – well no, it was a spiny sea urchin.  I don’t think they have much more of a central nervous system than, maybe, an oyster.  But I may be wrong…
