Chas from Tas has arrived. He got here a bit after 7am and he has been
very cheerily chatting ever since he first stepped onto the boat. He knows many people here – of course. Tonight we are having a BBQ at the clubhouse;
no doubt by the end of the evening he will know even more…
Fortunately he is particularly interested in talking to
Pete…I can slip by, relatively unnoticed.
At this very moment he is helping Pete lug some heavy gas tanks around;
I am exceedingly grateful. I am free to
make a large potto salad and to marinate some tuna steaks – much more my area
of skill and interest.
2XS is looking very spiffy –paintwork gleaming, ropes
all in place.
All is well!
