Saturday 23rd November
It is a beautiful
hot, still morning here in beautiful Port Dickson marina. And we are leaving in an hour or so…
The last Singapore jellyfish photo |
Time to move
on! Most of the rallyboats have left
already; he others are getting ready to leave, as we speak. Just a few will be left behind. Poor dear Marian is still in hospital, very
ill. I hate leaving her and Jan…
Only a week or so ago, in Danga Bay, before Marian was struck down with her horrid affliction |
Other people are
also sick – coughing and feverish. Pete
and I are ticketyboo. We had a lovely
night’s sleep, with the newly installed fan.
Pete spent HOURS crouched on the bunk in our cabin, installing it – the bed
is so high, the ceiling so low, that we can’t sit up straight so it was a
heroic effort, in the heat, (while I was sitting in the pool, laughing and talking
on the phone…) The fan is gorgeous. It whirls around and fans air onto our
faces. Never mind that it is as noisy as
a young jet engine; we love it!
Another Batu Cave mother monkey with a VERY newborn baby |
I think we are going
about 40 nautical miles up the coast, and will anchor near the Royal Selangor Tacht
Club. Then another night somewhere
else. Next stop – Pangkor, where there
is another beautiful marina.
Not sure when there
will be internet connection but I will keep trying.
