13th October - Hobart

Sunday 13^th October

So nice but so bewildering to be home…

Our Air Asia flight attendants were sweet and pretty but...our seats were very cramped...

It took a very long time to get from Johor Baru to Hobart…

We left at 11am (Malaysian time) and got to Hobart at 5pm (TasTime).  Pete slept from 8.30pm till 8.30am so he looks a bit perkier than he did when we first arrived on Australian soil.

We have caught up with a few large chunks of family (his and hers…) which has been WONDERFUL beyond words.

I have impressed my grandchildren inordinately by revealing to them that Johor Baru, apart from being a temporary resting place for 2XS, is also home to – Lego World Malaysia!!

Tomorrow is Pete’s mum’s funeral…

YES we got here in time!!!  

It will be a celebration of her life; she was very loved.

PS When we landed it was VERY blustery and cold... Pete says he looked out the window of the plane with a jaundiced eye, thinking, basically, BRRRR.  And I, at his side, was looking out the same window saying, Oh look, isn't it WONDERFUL!!!
