Happy birthday dear Angela Headlam Wood…

This photo is typical of Angela – she is full of kindness, and fun.  At the time I took this, Eva and Zoe were Home Alone with me, while their mother was in hospital with their new darling sister Rose.  The girls were quite happy, but they were not in a state of mind to take immediately to a stranger in their midst.  Angela came to visit…and within minutes, maybe LESS than minutes, they were as comfortable with her as they are with – well, with me, or any other close family member.

Amongst the many benefits I have derived from my close relationship with Pete…my friendship with Angela is top of the list…
