Last day in Tasmania…for the time being.

It is pouring with rain and…there are two big cruise ships in town, pulled up snugly to the main wharfs.  I imagine the cruisers will be snugged up in their cabins with hot chocolate, watching movies, snoozing.

Our last morning in Bicheno was sunny and a bit windy but perfect for a walk across to Diamond Island at low tide.

Rose darted ahead with Jeff and rushed around the island with great glee.

Hamish surfed and impressed us all.

It was all just so beautiful, so perfectly Bicheno.

On the way back we stopped for berry pancakes and seafood chowder at Kate’s Berry Farm.

Hard to believe our seven nights on the East Coast are over.  It seemed long and leisurely (well not really leisurely…) at the time but now…it is all a speedy blur!
