There is still no further news re our friends, captured and held hostage
on Jolo Island. It is now two months
since they were taken (21st September.) Friends and relativeshere and Tasmania are
adamant that we should not go back to Mindanao but…that is where 2XS is! Having
a facelift and lots of other much needed cosmetic work!
Mind you we haven’t heard anything at all from the marina worksite…maybe
nothing is happening at all and poor 2XS is just sitting there, neglected and
un-facelifted!
Life here in Tasmania is still BUSY and wonderful. This weekend we have had a beautiful lunch with
relatives and friends old and new, plus a sleepover in a fabulous house on the
waterfront, plus a walk along the aforementioned waterfront, plus delicious leftovers
for dinner and even more delicious soft boiled eggs with the lot for breakfast.
My only remaining technological issue is that I can’t upload photos to this
blog. All very mysterious and very annoying
but…well a VERY minor problem!! Aha!! I have had another go and...success, I think!! I will start taking photos again!!
