We had a long trip
today, arriving here at what we hope is an OK anchorage, just before dark.
It was al very
interesting down the eastern coast of Mindanao.
MANY miles of – mining! Lot of
ships, waiting to be loaded, and lots of denuded hills reaching as far as we
could see. We tried to look it up on
Google, as the internet came and went, and we think they are mining for
gold. But – maybe not?
But the most
exciting thing was – dolphins!
We haven’t seen a
decent dolphin since we left Australia.
Occasionally we
see an lackluster little creature lolling in the water, unable to summon up any
interest in 2XS at all.
These ones were lively! |
Well today we had
a whole little family – mum, dad, teenager, all very keen to leap and frolic in
the bow waves, for well over an hour. I
think they would have stayed for dinner if we had been able to entice them up
the steps!
They made us very
happy.
How wonderful! x
